Window Restoration UK provide the complete financially sound, timely and culturally sympathetic solution for the restoration, replacement and continued preservation and conservation of timber, sash and casement windows.
We specialise in non-domestic restoration projects for commercial. educational and public sector buildings and ‘open to the public’ stately homes – larger scale projects that require sensitive project management to dovetail with the ongoing uninterrupted ‘operation’ of our clients’ buildings.
We operate with three teams of trained skilled specialists whose mastery conserves, in a practical financially effective way, the heritage of the building. Typically our restoration solution outlasts standard repairs by eight to ten years and provides a structurally impervious ‘as new’ finish at half the cost of new installations.
Following an on-site detailed window-by-window survey we will provide a fully costed recommendation for repair or replacement and continued maintenance management. Typically a ‘rolling’ plan best suits – a contract that reflects prioritisation of work, minimises disruption to the building’s occupants and users, and prioritises long term cash flow.
A restoration project that required us to manage works around the busy operation of a thriving school in term time. Liaising constantly with school management we delivered the restoration within budget and within quoted timeframe adhering to necessary safety and safeguarding requirements. A total number of 300 windows were replaced or restored to ‘as new’
Under the instruction of the management company we executed a rolling restoration project of 140 apartments totalling 1240 timber windows on 5 floors over a total of 4 months. The project was tackled in three scaffolding sections and delivered to time plan to ensure that all residents were aware when they would be affected. The project was delivered to budget and on time.
